Drawing practice and research form the basis of my art working.
Through a series of drawing dialogues,images build a rhythmic pattern of response and visual reflection. Seemingly disparate images emerge and proceed to relate to each other through spontaneous,playful interraction.
As expansive possibilities take form, visual communication builds, embodying primal expressive gestures.

I am interested in phenomenological approaches in creative research. The primal gestures which emerge in spontaneous drawing dialogues constitute visual realities. Through my exploration of drawing I work with images which are intrinsically subtle instinctual complex forms.
Containing ambiguous and ambivalent elements, at times more than the sum of their parts; images as expansive, expressive forms have capacity for transformative affect, their potent of meaning becoming activated in the viewers gaze....
